S/4435 Antique Treen 19th Century Beech Bobbin Holder

A finely carved beech cylindrical two section bobbin holder, having a body with a delicate pointed finial, that is above a well carved centre section with vine leaves and grapes. The hollow interior has a three compartment spindle for silken threads, and the top has a fitted removable end piece for needles. The whole has an excellent colour and patination.
