S/4464 Antique 19th Century Cast Iron Cottage Money Box
A most attractive cast iron cottage money box, having a front forming a cottage with an angled roof and surrounded by protruding colourful flowers in full bloom. The recessed centre with the word 'BANK' has in the foreground a beehive with two bears, one standing and one on his back, trying to obtain some honey. The perforated back section, with a slot for coins on the roof, has a central screw to gain access with an indistinct registration mark. The whole is in excellent condition throughout.
