S/4496 Antique Treen 19th Century Dutch Coaster

An attractive 19th century Dutch coaster, having a shaped and staved body with alternate vertical staves of birch and mahogany, that has a concave ebonised band conforming with the shallow foot. The interior, with a slightly flared and beaded rim, has a solid mahogany base with a central roundel. The whole has a pleasing colour and retains a patination.
