S/4572 Antique Treen 19th Century Fruitwood Frog Snuff Box

A good carved fruitwood snuff box in the form of a crouching frog, having eyes, a mouth and four legs with carved feet. The underside has a wooden hinged lid with a hollowed out recess for the snuff in the usual manner. The whole is in excellent condition and has excellent colour and patination.
