S/4568 Antique Early 19th Century Bone Double Snuff Spoon
A rare and unusual double snuff spoon, simply carved in animal bone, probably mutton prisoner of war work and dating from the early 19th century. This piece has developed a rich and variegated patina. Clearly for someone with a heavy snuff habit for serving both nostrils.
