S/4599 Antique Treen 19th Century Scandinavian Birch Wood Braid Loom

An excellent early 19th century Scandinavian birch wood braid loom, which were used for making ornamental braids and ribbons, mostly used in the Georgian and Regency Periods. It is made from the solid and is a most interesting and attractive item, has a lovely honey colour and retains a pleasing patination.
