S/4612 Antique Treen Fruitwood Mortar Grater of the Georgian Period
An interesting late 18th/early 19th century two part fruitwood mortar grater of unusually tall proportions, having a mushroom top pestle that has an iron platform grater, with a corresponding one on the base of the mortar. The rounded and elongated body is seated on a B moulded sided platform base. The whole has excellent pale colour and patination.
