S/4614 Antique Treen 19th Century Rosewood Lemon Squeezer

A good quality solid rosewood 19th century two handled lever action lemon squeezer, having two halves that are united by a substantial brass hinge and open to reveal a circular recess, with a raised gallery to each side, to place the lemon, which then has a brass rimmed hole for the juice to escape. The whole has a good rich colour and patination.
