S/4615 Antique Treen 19th Century Mahogany Lidded Box with Gaming Counters for the Game of Squails

A mahogany lidded box containing a set of 19 circular polished gaming counters of various woods for the game of squails. Each counter has a recessed centre and is raised on a shallow circular foot with a coloured inset. The whole has a pleasing colour and retains a patination.
