S/4554 Antique Treen 18th Century Mahogany Longcase Clock Watch Holder

An exceptionally fine 18th century watch holder in the manner of a longcase clock, with the whole carved from a single piece of the finest Cuban mahogany. The amazing detail of this lovely item of treen needs to be seen to be believed, and one can only marvel at the skill and workmanship of the carver that attempted this feat. It is a serious collector's item that would stand out and be admired by all. The whole has an excellent rich dark colour and patination.
