S/4658 Antique Treen Early 19th Century Apple Wood Fisherman's Priest

An extremely good early 19th century apple wood fisherman's priest, having a handle with a string hole and knop. It has a barrel shaped end terminating in a carved roundel. The whole has a lovely colour, as often found in apple, similar to yew wood, with an excellent finish and patination.
