S/4706 Antique Treen Solid Walnut Devonian Half Bushel Grain Measure of the Georgian Period

An exceptional solid walnut Devonian half bushel grain measure of staved construction, having two wide brass bands with copper rivets. It is signed on the bottom I. Reed and stamped H.B. four times on the rim and three times in the interior with a crown. It also has another crown surrounded by the word Devon. The whole is of exceptional quality, colour and condition.
