S/4750 Antique Treen Early 20th Century Small Mahogany Salt

A most interesting small mahogany salt inscribed and dated 1926, having a circular top with a moulded rim that is seated on a stepped and concave section, which is in turn on a rounded and hexagonal base. A hand written paper label on the base reads, 'made for Mrs E Cane July 1926 for her kindness to her dear parents'. The whole has a pleasing colour and patination.
