S/4733 Antique Treen 19th Century Boxwood Double Measure of Miniature Proportions

A rare boxwood double measure of miniature proportions, united by a slender stem and central knop, with both measures having an original paper label glued to the exterior. The larger measure reads, '20 grains opiate confection' and the smaller measure reads, '15 grains aromatic confection'. The whole has a medium colour and retains a patination.
