S/4672 Antique Victorian Mahogany Shove Half Penny Board

A solid mahogany Victorian shove halfpenny board, having a playing area with a rounded top and beaded edge, that has horizontal and vertical inlaid bone dividing lines in the usual manner, which add to the attraction. These boards were often found in inns and public houses for people to pass away the time or to hold a competition. The whole has a good medium colour and retains a patination. It includes 10 coins.
