S/4770 Antique 19th Century Cast Iron Coffee Grinder

An interesting barrel shaped cast iron coffee grinder or mill in two sections, having a fixed folding handle to turn the mill, which is in working order. The body, with banded decoration, has an applied oval brass plaque, with the Royal coat of arms and the maker, W. Bullock & Co., Improved Coffee Maker, Manufacturers of the Improved Cast Kitchen Furniture, Coffee Mills, Hinges, Pullies, Castors, Shoe Scrapers, Garden Labels, Sad Irons, Three Legged Pots, Lathe Nails, Shoe Bills, Heel and Toe Tips etc. William Bullock & Co. were located at Spon Lane Iron Foundry, West Bromwich, Staffordshire. The removable bottom section is held by two lugs and the top section is now missing. The whole has its original black engraved finish.
