S/4833 Antique Treen 19th Century Scandinavian Pine Ale or Water Carriers

A pair of Scandinavian pine ale or water carriers, which are of staved construction with integral open handles and bound at the top and base with willow. The bodies, with punched zig zag decoration, have a lovely warm colour and good patination.
