S/4844 Antique Treen 19th Century Walnut Stamp Box

A small rectangular Victorian walnut stamp box, having a top with a sliding lid that has carved hatched decoration and a raised thumb piece to facilitate opening. The interior is divided into two sections and the base is made from a single block of wood. The whole has a good honey colour and patination.
