S/4875 Antique Early 19th Century Napoleonic P.O.W. Bone Teetotum
An excellent Napoleonic prisoner of war bone teetotum, known as a teetotum or rolling die. It has a finely turned spinner and the hexagonal sides have drilled holes with black stained infills, as one finds with dice and bone dominoes. An example is illustrated in the reference book, The Arts and Crafts of Napoleonic and American Prisoners of War 1756-1816, by Clive L. Lloyd page 214.
