S/4899 Antique Treen 18th Century Dated Sycamore Pastry Crimper

A rare dated sycamore pastry crimper of small proportions, having an open circular thumb piece that is above a spade shaped wedge, with a minute chip carved border containing a carved swan and the date of 1748. On the reverse are the initials K.I. and it has small carved teeth. The whole retains a patination.
