S/4888 Antique Treen 18th Century Boxwood Muffineer

A most attractive late 18th century boxwood muffineer, of traditional form and having a fitted perforated top and well turned finial. The majority of muffineers were made of sycamore, although this one was made of boxwood and extremely well turned, which makes it a more desirable item for the serious collector. The whole has an excellent rich honey colour and patination.
