S/4953 Antique Treen 18th Century Fruitwood Fisherman's Priest

A good quality mid 18th century fruitwood fisherman's priest, having a shaped shaft that is finely turned with incised lines with a small inset lead end. It has a leather carrying handle, which is attached to the end that has a brass ferule. The whole has an excellent colour and patination.
