S/4944 Antique Mid 17th Century Oak Panel Depicting a Serpent

A mid 17th century oak panel depicting a carved double headed serpent, of substantial proportions and deeply carved within a plain border, possibly part of a larger panorama. The whole has an excellent colour with a rich patination.
