S/4914 Antique Treen 18th Century Pear Wood Lidded Spice Pot
An excellent Georgian pole lathe turned pear wood lidded spice pot, having a lid with a raised knob that is fitted to the base of bulbous form, having central reeded decoration and raised on a small protruding foot. It has extensive pole lathe turnings all over, including the lid and base and is an interesting item for the collector. The whole has an excellent colour and patination.
