S/4889 Antique Treen 19th Century One Gallon Ash Grain Measure

A Victorian one gallon ash grain measure, having a nailed overlap join and stamped gallon with excise marks, V.R. 523 L.C.C. on the side and also on the base, which has some historic worm, see image. The whole has a pleasing medium colour and patination.
