S/4891 Antique Treen 19th Century One Gallon Birch Grain Measure

A Victorian one gallon birch grain measure, having a nailed overlap join and stamped gallon, with inside excise marks of a crown, V.R. and number 346, for the county of Dorset from 1826-1879. The whole has a pleasing mellow colour and retains a patination.
