S/4963 Antique Treen 18th Century Fruitwood Spice Pot
A most interesting small early 18th century fruitwood spice pot, having a fitted stopper and the whole extensively covered with chip carved decoration in circular bands. It is of ovoid form with a domed foot and has pole lathe turnings to the underside of the base. The whole has a good honey colour and patination.
