S/4912 Antique Treen 18th Century Sycamore Scales Pan
A lovely early 18th century sycamore scales pan with a sunken centre, having extensive pole lathe turnings, both to the inside and outside, with a slightly rounded rim and very shallow foot. It has a small shrinkage crack and scattered historic worm holes, which all add to the interest of this extremely good example. The pan has been well used, through which it has obtained an excellent colour and patination.
