S/4976 Antique Treen 19th Century West Country Oak Cream Pail
An interesting small oak coopered cream pail, having an iron swing handle and originally with three iron bands, now with only two. There are traces of original green paintwork, so often used in the West Country on Windsor chairs and rustic items of furniture. Note the unusual attachment of the handle plate under the top iron band. The whole has a good colour and patination.
