S/4996 Antique 19th Century Papier Mache Decorated Snuff Shoe

A small lady's papier mache decorated snuff shoe, having imitation stitching and an oval hinged lid, which has a finely painted figure of a fashionable lady dressed in glamorous attire. The whole is in excellent condition and has a rich dark colour and patination.
