S/5000 Antique Treen 18th Century Double Lidded Mahogany Cutlery Tray

A good quality Georgian double lidded solid mahogany cutlery tray, having sloping brass hinged lids with cleated ends that are centered by a raised and shaped carrying handle with a cut out hand grip. The body has two compartments of useful proportions and has angled sides of dovetailed construction with a small protruding rounded foot. The whole has an excellent rich colour, grain and patination.
