S/4990 Antique Treen 17th Century Mulberry Wood Lidded Urn

An interesting late 17th century mulberry wood lidded urn, having a fitted top that has a raised and pointed finial. The interior has pole lathe turnings and is raised on a short stem with a central flat knop and seated on a stepped and rounded foot. It has historic filling and restoration. The whole has an excellent colour and patination. Provenance: J. A. Reckless collection (labelled).
