S/5001 Antique Treen Early 19th Century Boxwood Butter Stamp

A fine quality circular early 19th century boxwood butter stamp of exceptional quality and having a most pleasing form. The concave underside is finely carved with a swan that has raised wings amongst pond foliage. The whole has an exceptional rich colour, as often in boxwood items, and a lovely patination.
