S/4994 Antique Treen 18th Century Spiral Candlestick

A good example of a late 18th century spiral candlestick, having a traveller for adjusting the height of the candle and a hook for carrying or hanging. The spiral is seated on a circular stepped fruitwood base with a vertical foot, that has a lovely rich colour and excellent patination.
