S/5041 Antique Treen 19th Century Sycamore Cawl Ladle

A large 19th century Welsh sycamore cawl ladle, made from a single piece of wood, with a hook handle and extensive lathe turnings showing on the inside of the bowl. The whole has a pale honey colour and patination.
