S/5096 Antique Early 19th Century Oak Lidded Box

An early 19th century oak lidded box, having a fitted lid with brass hinges, lock and key, that opens to reveal an interior of useful proportions. This is above a full width drawer with original small brass knob handles that has a divided interior of five compartments. The whole is raised on a shallow plinth base and has an excellent colour, grain and patination.
