S/5124 Antique Treen 19th Century Swedish Birch Wood Trough

A Swedish birch wood trough dated 1870 having initials P.O.S. on the underside, which was carved from the solid and is extremely tactile and a most appealing shape. The exterior has pronounced chisel marks and the whole has a lovely pale honey colour and retains a pleasing patination.
