An interesting biscuit mould depicting a parrot and five other various bell shaped, circular and octagonal designs. It has a protruding handle with a suspension hole, which makes it easier to handle. The whole has an excellent dark rich colour and patination. Black walnut is a species of deciduous tree of the walnut family and was often imported into Europe for furniture making in the 18th and 19th centuries.
