S/5222 Antique Treen Early 20th Century Ash Half Gallon Lidded Grain or Flour Measure

An ash measure having a lid replaced at a later date, but with the original interior supports. It is stamped twice with a crown above G.R. 567, which relates from the county of Shropshire from 1891 and inscribed half gallon. The whole has a honey colour and retains a patination.
