S/4639 Antique Treen 18th Century Fruitwood Master Salt

A good example of a pole lathe turned fruitwood master salt, unfortunately having historic damage, but with a good patination on the break. It could be restored, but we thought it was more interesting left as it is. It has lots of fine pole lathe turnings on the inside and out, with worn decoration and raised on a short stem with an attractive angled foot. The whole has an excellent colour and patination.
