S/5196 Antique Treen 19th Century Victorian Ash Quart Measure

A solid ash measure of overlap construction in the usual manner stamped Quart, having a further weights and measures stamp on the interior, crown above V.R. and No. 2 etc. This mark stands for the City of Salisbury from 1825 to 1879. The whole has a pleasing colour and patination.
