S/5261 Antique 19th Century Brass and Iron Crimping Machine

A fine example of a Victorian crimping machine for pleating and ruffling freshly laundered and starched cuffs and collars, comprising of two brass serrated rollers with an adjustable central sprung and polished beech handle. The whole is mounted on a decorative cast iron black painted stand which in turn is screwed to a polished platform base. It is an extremely decorative item which is in excellent working condition throughout.
