S/5264 Antique Treen Early 19th Century Barrel Shaped Pepper Mill

A good Virginia walnut barrel shaped hand held pepper mill, having a body with extensive reeded decoration and a bone screw thread central knob to gain access to the interior. The recessed top has a shaped iron and brass turning handle, with an open base to expel the ground pepper corns. It is in full working condition and has a good honey colour, grain and patination.
