S/5240 Antique Treen 18th Century Scandinavian Fruitwood Carved Circular Salt

A most interesting circular fruitwood salt of bowl design carved from the solid, having an uneven well worn rim. The rounded sides have raised carved floral decoration with a small raised foot. The base has indistinct initials and the whole has a most excellent colour and patination.
