S/5331 Antique Early 19th Century Mahogany Wall Mounted Whip Rack

A rare early 19th century mahogany wall mounted whip rack, comprising of twin wheels, each divided for holding two whips. The front of each wheel has a central turned roundel surrounded by an applied well detailed brass horse shoe. The whole, mounted on a solid mahogany horizontal bar, has a good rich colour and excellent patination.
