S/5288 Antique Treen 19th Century Sycamore Bowl

A good sycamore culinary bowl, having an interior showing signs of use. The exterior has extensive pole lathe turnings, moulded turned decoration and a shallow foot. The whole has a medium to rich dark colour and patination. It has historic shrinkage.
