S/5328 Antique Treen 19th Century Single Sycamore Spice Container

A single sycamore spice pot labelled cinnamon, having a screw lid in the traditional manner. Single ones occasionally have a grater fitted to the inside top of the lid, but these are rare. The whole has a good colour and patination showing signs of use over the ages.
