S/5344 Antique Treen 19th Century Willow Banded Ash Scottish Costrel

A most attractive staved ash Scottish costrel, which is banded in willow at both ends. The raised bung hole is incorporated as one of the staves, which is unusual and the whole is of excellent quality and has a most pleasing colour and patination.
