S/5390 Antique Treen 19th Century Beech Snuff Box in the Manner of a Woodworker's Plane

A most unusual beech snuff box made in the manner of a woodworker's plane, having a sliding lid held in place with a simulated ladle. The whole has an excellent pale honey colour and patination.
