S/5386 Antique Treen Scandinavian Root Wood Dug Out Bowl

A most tactile Scandinavian dug out bowl of natural oval form, having an underside with a shallow foot that is dated 1868 and carved initials FSS? The whole has an excellent rich colour and patination, as often found with bowls of this nature.
